Sky QMini Box sound

My sky Q mini box sound blips out every 16 seconds. If I switch off and on at the wall it works again for a while. Other posts suggest reset settings on the 001 menu, this does not fix it.

 

Any suggestions? Will sky replace the box / be able to help? The box has always done it for years, but we usually just reset it and it works for a few hours.

is this over optical or hdmi?

Maybe try another cable

 

is it in the arc socket? Shouldn't be but also that shouldn't cause this. Just making wild guesses really.

All Sky Q television hardware is loaned to subscribers and replaced free of charge (typically by doorstep exchange) where necessary: you'll need to call Sky and log a fault with them for this to happen.

The online box troubleshooter also ends in a box replacement if all other options are exhausted.
