We have been a sky customer for 19 years, when upgrading to sky Q, the engineer installed the main box upstairs, the mini box downstairs.
I have asked for them to be changed many times, but I'm told there's a charge ??? Which doesn't seem fair. I'm now at a point that my husband is now disabled with mobility issues, when I'm at work , if there are issues with sky abd it happens often , then he would have to go upstairs to the main box, he can no longer do that, is there anyway that anyone knows of that I can change them , I have no choice but to pay for multi room otherwise there's no TV downstairs? Is there a way around this without further charges that we can't afford, once my contract is up I will cancel but in the meantime I'm trying to find a way. Thank you

Main issue is the two dish cables which must go to the main Q box.
If you previously had Sky+Multiroom are there any dish cables (not being used ) at the mini box location?

There are no other cables that I can see anywhere.
I tried to make our package as cheap as possible but we have to have multi room otherwise there's no TV in the living room, it doesn't seem fair that I either pay fur multi room or £100 to change the boxes over.
We bought a pay per view service once and there were a few of us here to watch it and it turned out it was only on the main box so we all had to sit in the bedroom!!!!!
mill be glad to leave, but until the contract is up I have no option
