Sky Q slow download speed using BT

BT Broadband working working perfectly and at high speed however Sky movie downloading at 1%  every 3 mins!

clearly a problem Skys end , rebooting service is not an easy option due to other services.

Hi just a film of sky cinema, which took 30mins to reach the point where it could be watched .

Netflix buffers most evening s

In the past sky engineers have installed a Sky booster in order to make Sky Q think it's on Sky broadband .

Modem hard wired to main Sky box and wi fi to  Q .

Hi @Lincsdefender   One example, Mission Impossible - The Final UHD HDR 2h 44m. Gigaclear 600 broadband, ready to watch in 15 seconds, fully downloaded in 18 minutes 45 seconds (23.1GB). If you would like me to test a specific example (title & format) to see if it is a problem at Sky's end, please let me know.

What does this mean? Are you saying that the main Q box is hardwired via ethernet cable and it's a mini box you're trying to use? (Obviously the mini box can't store anything on itself as everything is stored on the main box)

Not to my knowledge 🤔 the main sky box is hard wired whereas the sky q mini ( other room) is dependent on wi fi .

Turn off 2.4GHz wifi. The mini connection ises 5GHz

the box will randomly use wifi even with a configured ethernet connection.

or even let the mini handle the internet connection
