Sky Q repeatedly losing connection

Sky Q repeatedly connection, amd losing connection to mini boxes. Absolutely frd up with it, a waste of money

 

The last time I called for assistance the lad i spk with had no clue, no training and couldnt help, i ended up thankfully sorting it myself after 3 hrs, who has the time to keep phoning Sky for these lengths of times!!!!! 

 

The service Im paying for is inadequate!!!!

Hi @cezor Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

This also happened less than 2 weeks ago so I managed to get it up and running again. It seems an ongoing thing. 

 

The router reboot is something ive not tried yet as I was informed by doing this it would cause problems with signal speed, It will put me back to sqaure one, like when they tell you (after you first start the router) it'll take a few weeks to settle down, slow speeds etc? 

 

Ive never had so many problems since upgrading broadband speed & upgrade to Sky Q this time last year.

Hi @cezor Rebooting the router will not slow any WiFi speed, in fact it should increase the speed and connectivity to devices!
