I've tried resetting my remote using 7 and 9 and 1 and 3 as per all the instructions online but it just throws and error each time. I can turn the TV on and the box on but it's stuck on one channel and I can't change it. The remote only works for turning it on and off and changing the volume. I'm confident the remote is ok (as in not broken) because the home button still works for turning on the box just not once in the sky q menu.

The remote has completely stopped working now so I think I'm just going to buy a new one.

In the meantime if you have an Apple device with Sky Go you can set up a virtual remote to control your Q boxes.
