Sky Q remote won't turn TV on.

So I recently order a new Sky Q remote due to my old one not working properly. The new one arrived and I pressed 1 and 3 followed the on screen instructions. Remote now controls volume on my TV it will also turn it off however it won't turn my TV back on. Thankfully my old remotes power button still works so therefore I'm able to use this to turn it on but I could really do with the new one working too.
