Sky Q remote low battery notice

I have noticed lately with the sky Q remote there is no longer in water is coming up on the screen to inform you when the batteries are getting low did used to say the batteries in the remote control I'm going low please replace them as soon as possible I no longer see this notice instead what happens is the battery is just go without warning when they are dead it's happened to me the other night and I thought there was something wrong with my sky Q box that it had frozen for some reason when all that has happened is that the batteries needed changing why does this notice not appear on the screen anymore or is it just for me there's anyone else had the same problem thank you

@Dobber1234 the message still apprears for me as had it for the last day you could try rebooting your box but ofcourse you won't know if thats fixed the problem until your batteries go again unless you put dud batteries in the remote to test
