Sky Q remote control frozen with red light permanently on

Hi guys. I put new batteries in my Sky Q remote last night. Now the remote has frozen with the red light permanently on. Ive removed the batteries and even put the old ones back in - nothing changes. I've pressed 'Select' for 30 seconds and held 7 and 9 down as I've seen other suggest - nothing works. Can anyone help. My 82 year old mum has no TV now! Thanks

Check if the Microphone button on the remote is stuck in.
