have some recordings on Sky Q box but I want to be able to watch them on the sky go app - quick search seemed to indicate I need Multiscreen enabled to get this feature - am I right?

Hi @Teddy1975 When you subscribe to Multiscreen you can Get Sky Go Extra at no added cost, and watch live TV or download on demand shows on up to four devices (in line with your TV subscription).
I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.

hi @Teddy1975
Yes multiscreen allows you to watch recordings from your SKY Q box & download them to your device if wanted.
Note: To view on and/or download to, your device must be on the same network as the SKY Q box
Once downloaded you can watch away from home but there are time limits on starting and then complete watching (unfortunately I can't remember these off the top of my head)

Re: Sky Q recordings
@Teddy1975 in addition to @nigea99 post you will not be able to download anything recorded on you Q box from the BBC channels and a couple of others as they want you to use their own streaming app ie IPlayer
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile
