Sky Q recording faults

We often find recorded programme is showing the progress bar as almost finished when we try to play it for first time after recording

hi @GOLDJAG

This can happen if you watch the channel, even for a brief period whist it is recording - the marker that stores progress may be set by watching the channel.

We think this is aimed at people wishing to pick up where they left off but most people probably would prefer it not do this

If you don't press the watch from start button and start watching part wy through just use the voice command "Go to Start"  to start from the beginning

 Hi @GOLDJAG

Apart from this happening because you have briefly watched the program maybe inadvertently it will also happen if the program is currently onscreen when you start recording.
