Sky Q not connecting to mini boxes.

2TB HDR Sky Q box. 2 mini boxes.

This is a similar problem as recent posts but I can't resolve it by resetting all the boxes every day.

For the last 3 weeks or so I have been unable to watch more than 20mins of live TV or recordings on TVs connected to my mini boxes before the picture disappears - the mini box has lost connectivity with the Sky Q box.

The menus are available, streaming apps WORK, but NOT the live channels.

I have reset all the boxes (using the 001 in settings) at least once a day, but still the issue persists. I have not factory reset any of the boxes.

It's a total pain in the ****.

Any help would be appreciated

It's been happening on one box Intermittently for a couple of months now. Now, both are affected. I've swapped boxes, replaced with a spare, moved them about, same problem. Absolutely no issues with the main box and TV. 

I've had this setup for around 3yrs - although, I changed internet provider about 18 months ago - with minimal connectivity issues.

factory reset the minis, network reset the Q. reset the hub. 

keep the minis off until needed. put in the password to the Q, the wps the mini to the Q one at a time. 

don't forget to reset the remotes because they won't work

Well, it almost worked!!

Did all the resets and fired up one of the minis. It came on immediately and stayed on for an hour. So, I switched it off and moved on to the other mini. Back to square one! Factory reset and tried again. After 2 resets I finally got pictures. I got about half an hour out of it then the connectivity error came up again.

Almost cracked it.

Check the main router wifi isn't clashing with the same or overlapping channel as the Q's own mesh.
