Sky Q not being activated

Hello I wonder has anyone encountered this issue before? My contract with Sky Q ran out at the end of Oct, my account was showing that a returns package would be posted out to return my Sky Q box and minis. I subsequently signed back upto Sky with a good deal on Sat 15th Nov. The Sky box had been left on, but it has been unable to activate my new services. To keep it as short as possible, I was passed back and forth via the cancellation and technical team, who both gave me conflicting advice. I was advised to cancel and resubscribe again, this did not help. A CR form was opened, which apparantly is meant to sort this issue by the 28th Nov. However, I do not hold out much hope as I have been told 4 hours, 24 hours, 3 - 5 days and 4 minutes! I cannot get through to anyone at SKY who will give me a straight answer to what the problem is, and have filled in 3 complaint forms. I do not know whether to hang on until the 28th, although I am doubtful my servcies will be sorted, or to cancel altogether as the customer service as been terrible. In the meantime thet are charging me for services I am not getting. Any help appreciated. One last thing, the sky app is saying you do not have Sky Q even though I have the email confirming my new contract and the billing is showing this!
