Sky Q mini

Hiya my mini box isn't working, I rang sky and they sent me a booster pack out but it still won't work. 

when I go on my main sky box it says you do not have the required subscription to use sky Q mini box then I have the option to reactivate I do that and it still comes up with a cross at the side any ideas??

Just to confirm you have a multiscreen subscription on your account?

I wasn't told I havnt I've moved house so didn't plug it in upstairs straight away, when I came to do it it wouldn't work, I went over all the online stuff still nothing so I called sky he sent me out a booster pack I've plugged that in and it still doesn't work. But like I said on the main box it's saying I don't have the required subscription. I told him that's what it said when I called but he was adamant I needed this signal booster box thing.

Sounds like you were given the wrong advice. You need to pay for multiroom. Did you have it in the old house?

If not, how did you get the mini box?

Yes I had it in my old house I moved and brought the boxes with an engineer came out to fit the internet and I said I would do the mini box when I was unpacked and sorted

Ok so your subscription shouldn't have changed. I would call Sky again, think they need to check your account.
