Sky Q mini not connecting due to distance

Hi, I have sky Q Mini but it won't connect to the Sky Q box because it is too far away.

My broadband provider is BT not Sky (because they do a whole house guarantee and our house is long and three storeys high).

it connects when in the same room so it's clearly the distance to where we want it located that is the issue.

Any ideas please?

Call Sky to request loan of one of their boosters, connect the Mini box over ethernet cable to a BT disk (this won't work wirelessly) or investigate Powerline networking
