Sky Q mini box
Thw engineer out a few weeks ago because the mini box was not connecting to the main ask Q box. He installed a hub and all was well. Now the middle light on the hub is off and the mini box will not connect at all. I have followed all the instructions online and it is not fixed. Trying to speak to someone at a sky is impossible. Just feel it is all a waste of money and quite helpless. Help!

Hi @Ally74
Assume that it was a Sky Q WiFi booster installed between the main Q box and the mini?
Assuming the main Q box is connected correctly you need to set up the Q booster as follows.
Position the booster approx midway between the main Q box and the mini.
- Hold the WPS button on your booster for 3 seconds until it flashes amber. Then hold the WPS button on the front of your main Q box for 3 seconds until it flashes amber - You'll need to do it within 2 minutes.
- After a few minutes, the connected light on the booster should turn green. You're all set up.
Tip: Need to move your booster after you've connected, don't worry it will automatically reconnect when its moved as long as its within range of your main Q box.
Then carry out a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with Q device,
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the Q booster box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).

Re: Sky Q mini box
Thank you. Three lights now on the hub but the mini box is still not working. I have disconnected and tried again but am getting a message on screen saying there is no signal. The tv is working fine on "terrestrial".

Hi @Ally74
After getting the three lights on the booster have you carried out the Network reset on the mini as per my original post???
Also have you made sure that you have selected the correct HDMI input on the television ie the one connected to the mini?
