Sky Q mini box not working

Watchibg TV fine yesterday evening, switched off to take a long phone call, switched Tav back on and realised the Sky Q box blue light was no longer visable. and now a red light.

Remote seems to be working as hit the standby button and this activated a green light on the box. Switch off Q box altogether, waited a minute then plugged back in and a pulsing blue light appears but dies after a few seconds, and back to square one. 

Called Sky customer service and the first time they can send an engineer out is 17th August!!!'n So no TV and in particular Olympics for us then. Thanks Sky

Hi @Hevs1 Make sure that your TV is on standby, then try rebooting your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on to reboot?
