Sky Q mini box not working in one room

I can't get my sky Q mini box to work in the bedroom it has a flashing red light. I have replaced batteries in my remote and when I oress? Key I have a red light on the remote which proves that is working. I have turned off at mains checked all cables but still can't stop the red flashing stand by light. I've pressed the rest button and still the same flashing red light. Do I need a new box?
