Sky Q mini box not connecting to internet

I have just had a new broadband fitted and my main sky Q box has connected but it will not connect to my mini box ?? It just keeps saying connection unsuccessful?? I've tried turning the box on and off and trying again and now the remote doesn't seem to work with the box either ?? Pls help
