Sky Q mini box frozen (constant red light) main box is ok

Sky Q mini box has a constant red light. Main box working fine. Tried resetting both boxes,  checked cables  connection etc. Controller now flashing.

Hi @Gill 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the mini box.
If this turns the mini box on
Try completly resetting your mini Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi @GrannySuemc 

Have you tried switching the Q box on with standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)?

Tried everything suggested. 
disconnected box and reconnected.  Pressed on button, red button turned green but after the set up blue page with the house, when it says the screen will go blank, press house. The button goes red and nothing happens. House button doesn't work, standby button doesn't work. New batteries in remote.

I have been on this forum followed all reset steps and the box will not respond.  I have updated software on main box and again tried to reset the box but to no avail.
