Sky Q mini box freezing

Hello all,

 

As MANY others are reporting, my mini box keeps freezing. I've rebooted (router + main box), unplugged the mini & reset - still happened. Had a NEW mini box delivered from Sky - after 2 days it kept freezing again. Got a Sky booster & set everything up from scratch again. STILL freezing!

Am sick to death of these constant problems & Sky don't seem to offer any actual help apart from telling you to reboot etc. There seems to be a LOT of people with this issue and, considering the £££ we pay, they need to actually DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!

Where is the booster located?  To be effective it needs to be as close as possible to midway between the main Q box and the Mini box location.

 

There seems to be a LOT of people with this issue

 

Q television has many millions of subscription households: a small percentage experiencing problems is a large number of users.

I've set up everything from scratch 4 times, have the booster connected & STILL doesn't work.
