Sky mini won’t connect to Eero network.

I have Sky FTTP 500 MEG broadband. I've been fed up with Sky's Wi-Fi so I thought to improve matters I'd buy an Amazon Eero pro. I've connected the Eero to my sky hub and turned off the hub's wifi. The Eero works well, and all my other smart devices have connected without a problem. I kept the same name / password as my old network. My main Sky Q box is connected by ethernet and is working fine. The mini just won't connect to the main box, I've tried a few tips I've seen here but none seems to work (such as disabling the 2.4 ghz channel). This didn't work. Can the mini work wirelessly with the set up I describe? An ethernet connection will be a challenge due to my setup. Any help will be much appreciated.

A Mini box will not stay connected by WiFi to non-Sky hardware, only over an ethernet cable.
