Sky Q mini box causing massive data transfer slowdowns when connected via ethernet (again)

This issue has been raised before but it's seems to be back.  As soon as my Sky Q mini box is connected via ethernet, my Sky Gigafast speedtests drop by over 50%.

My normal Sky Gigafast speed test on a iMac connected via ethernet = 900 - 1000Mbps using the black Sky broadband hub (SR203 firmware version 7.03.0509.R)

As soon as I conected my Sky Q mini box using ethernet cable, those speed tests plummet to <400Mbps.   Unplug the ethernet cable from the Sky Q mini box and the speed reverts back to normal after a few seconds.

After searching this this issue online, this appears to be an old issue which the Sky Q mini box firmware caused.

Sky Q mini box is on the latest firmware Q250.000.11.00L

Presumably no other forum users (who are a tiny subset of the total Sky customer base) feel that they have similar circumstances to be able to comment.
