Sky Q main box lost internet connection

Sky Q main box lost internet connection (afternoon 2 Oct) and won't reconnect rendering my mini boxes useless!

I have tried all the suggested fixes, many times, and still won't connect.

My router is working fine, as are my laptops and phones connected to the network. Very frustrating!!

Hi 

 

I am having the same issue here.

 

My Internet is working normally and fine for Laptops , Phones and SMART TV apps. 

 

My TV works fine for channels including Sky, however if I go to Apps and select Netflix, Prime or others then i get not connected to internet. 

 

I have followed the instructions to check Network (got a x) and reset it and go to the router to press the WPS button but the TV message just continues with the circle going around.

 

I have done all the switching off and back on again plus this setup has worked for a long time before.

I have exactly the same problem not connecting at all for last hour

We have the same problem here today too.. WiFi to other devices in the home but no network connection to Q at all. We have tried disconnecting and resetting and following advice on the help page but nothing.

Same here, assumed it wad my system, restarted but no joy.

 

Great so tried to contact Sly and obvioulsy not operating as its the festive season. 

 

 I assume some form of refund will be offered as the services are not fully operational.

If you have Sky Broadband press the reset button on the back of the router (near the bottom) and wait for all the lights on the router to come back on Green. Then go back to the main Sky Q Box and search again for networks and your network should now show to connect to.

As you seem to be on Sky broadband, try the steps in post 7 here and have a look at 8 too
