Sky Q keeps forgetting 3rd party network credentials

I have just had Sky Q installed as an upgrade and it has an issue where it keeps forgetting the 3rd party network credentials.

We have Sky broadband, but use a mesh network to boost the wi-fi signal around the house.

I do a reset and select the mesh network name and enter the password and it connects ok.

But after about 2 minutes it disconnects, forgets those credentials and wants to keep connecting to the Sky router, which is out of range for a decent connection.

Does anyone know how to make it not forget the settings I keep adding?

Is there a mesh node nearby with an ethernet port?

Q doesn't always play nicely with mesh networks wirelessly.

Thanks. There is an ethernet port on the disc, but that disn't work either unfortunately.

I've ordred a Sky Q booster. Hopefully that will do the trick.
