Sky Q keeps dropping connection on Wifi on vodafone fttp

using  vodafones own router the wifi works great on evrything else except Sky Q

I have manged to sort it out  by connecting a sky booster  to the VF router hub  then connecting the sky q box to the sky booster

you should not have to do this you should be able to connect Sky q box directly to the vf router by wi fi   the above is a work round  may be sky need to take a look  why it dosnt work connecting directly to the router
