I'm being upgraded from Sky HD+ to Sky Q next month and from reading previous threads I see I will get a new LNB and possibly a new dish but will they use the same cables? I ask because I have re-routed them under the floor boards and want to keep them there, can anyone please advise?
Thanks
John

hi @j+caines
If you have 2 cables (or twin) then usually they are able to use the existing cables.
There could be a problem if they use a combined faceplate on the wall rather than direct to the box
You may, also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Re: Sky Q dish to box cables
Thanks a lot for that advice and the notes, I've got 2 wires from the dish and no wall plate ( straight into box ) so hopefully it will go smoothly.
