Sky Q box return

Hi, I changed my sky deal in December and at the time cancelled my mini box for a 2nd room as the best offer was £12 a month.  Its now been cancelled and I've received the envelope to return the equipment.  If I decide to take the new offer on the website out for multiroom, do I still need to return the current equipment and await new being delivered, or can I just continue to use what is currently connected before I unplug it all.  Many thanks

I haven't seen that offer but it may be for customers taking Multiscreen for the first time.
