Sky Q box return

Had to get a new sky q box sent out and was told to send the old box back including cables and remote but when the courier came he said he only wanted the box and nothing else as they weren't needed. Has anyone else not sent the extras back?

That's okay as long as the power cable for your faulty box was the same as fitted the box the courier left. That's why we always say swap the power cable and remove the viewing card from the faulty box too.
