Sky Q box problems almost daily
Ever since mid May when Sky apologised for the problems with Sky Q we have continued to experience the connection to the router tripping out. Despite unplugging, resetting, pushing the WPS button and all those things you have to do to reconnect, our box continues to disconnect from the router. There seems no rhyme or reason why this happens. It just does. Sometimes when you're watching something it just disconnects, sometimes it will reconnect by itself. So frustrating, and of course the Mini Q box won't work either! Anybody else had these problems, and if so what did you do to sort it?

Ahh OK @DevonVal
Unfortunately these act like a 3rd party router when used with the Q box.
This means that you have to connect it to your Q box using SSID and password (for the 2.4 Ghz band) and not WPS.
Try resetting the connection again.
First reset your broadband router.
If the Sky Max router has a Reset on the back of the hold it until the power until light flashes green (about 10 seconds). Don't unplug or switch off your router while it resets. The power light will go green when it's done.
If it does not have a reset button, reboot it by disconnecting the power lead for 30 secs and then reconnecting.
Wait until the router is completely back and running and then try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky or 3rd party router.
On Sky Broadband with the new Sky Max router then you need to connect it as if it is a 3rd party router.
If you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.
