Sky Q box not picking up internet connection

My sky Q box says it does not have internet connection and to reconnect to network. I have tried numerous times and not picking up any

 

my broadband is BT and is connecting to all other devices at home so it's not a broadband connection 

 

I have turn on and off and also took plug out for 10 minutes. I can't seem to find a restart option in the setting. Any suggestions?

Hi @Kateeee1 

First reset your broadband router.
On 3rd party broadband reboot it by disconnecting the power lead for 30 secs and then reconnecting.
Wait until the router is completely back and running and then try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to 3rd party router
As you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.
