Sky Q box hard drive problem

Turned on TV and Sky Q box has a problem with the disk drive. I have followed the instructions to reset the hard drive, all to no avail. I would like to get Sky to come out and replace the drive.

They will replace the whole box with a doorstep swap

 

make sure you keep your viewing card AND swap power cables as there are two types.

 

you'll have to go through the troubleshooter

Sky will not replace the drive, they will arrange a box swap.  Remember to remove your viewing card before you give the courier your old box.

 

All recordings are lost, you can re-download any purchases.

They don't replace the hard drive. They replace the whole box, usually by a doorstep box swap.

If you do need a new box remember to remove the viewing card from the faulty box.

Thank you all very much for your prompt and accurate replies. I eventually got through to a Sky helper who has arranged a new box to be delivered.
