I have been having constant problems with my sky q box. I have had 3 engineer visits and they have even fitted a booster. However, I am constantly losing connectivity. The main box and one other box seems to work ok but the third box is a absolute joke. I am payinn a small fortune for a shoddy product. I will be canceling my agreement.

Got Sky Q and one Mini box installed in late 2019. From the day one it was a disaster. The Sky installer left me with one channel working on my main box. Spent over an hour on the phone with tech support while they tracked down the installer and told him to return to fix it. Eventually after a few hours he did and put in a brand new cable from the dish to the main box. Little did I realise the problems that would cause later. For about a day everything worked fine.
Day 2, Sky Q mini kept losing connection. Got onto Sky again to complain, went through the whole shebang of resetting the boxes, restarting the router etc. Things only got worse then. I was then told that my internet provider was not compatible with Sky Q. Things did settle down eventually and had no issues for about a year or two.
Out of the blue everything went bad again and back to the constant Sky Q mini losing connection. It would work for about 10 seconds to a minute before losing connection. Surprisingly changing the resolution from 1080p to 1080i did seem to fix it temporarily. However the mini box started acting up yet again. Eventually I decided to cancel Sky Q mini and just keep the main Sky Q box which has never caused me any trouble. Looked into getting freesat to replace the mini box to find that when the Sky installer installed the new lnb for Sky Q, without my knowledge he had changed the dish to wideband lnb which means the old Sky cables I had for multitroom do not work. Wish I had known in advance that getting the new cable for Sky Q would result in the old sky lnb's not being usable unless I have the dish converted to multiband.

I have only had sky Q a couple of weeks and I too have the exact same problem! Not happy as it's stressful when you have to keep messing around with it to TRY to get connectivity.
