Sky Q and WiFi non functional incorrect password

My sky and mini boxes and WiFi are not working despite a good old fashioned off and on which usually does the trick. Devices are saying "incorrect password" when trying to connect to WiFi and sky Q and mini boxes are not starting up....via the app all functionality is indicating "ok" and green ticks everywhere but nothing actually working. Any tips?

Re: Sky Q and WiFi non functional incorrect password

Are you performing a network reset on your Q box? To do so, navigate to Q box Home > Settings > Setup > Network. Choose "Status" and then select "Reset" on the right-hand side. Follow the prompts to connect via WiFi to your Sky router. During the process, you'll be prompted to press the WPS button on the Sky router (not on the Q box, as the network reset will automatically initiate the main Q box WPS). Ensure you press the WPS button on the Sky router, not the reset button

Re: Sky Q and WiFi non functional incorrect password

My Sky Q box was always flaky on Vodafone so I hoped changing to Trooli Fibre Broadband

In the past I've tried direct cabling to the Sky Q and Mini Box without much success, the Mini Box has been unusable for months

The connection to the WiFi was perfect for 24 hours but now every time you try to connect the Q STB it's says the password is incorrect

I'm using a TP Link x10 Mesh system with the Trooli Router WiFi disabled

Any help would be grateful received as it's getiting to the point of cancelling Sky

Wire it and disable wifi on the Sky boxes

Re: Sky Q and WiFi non functional incorrect password

Sadly no Ethernet cabling near the main box - it seems Sky boxes are reluctant to work with 3rd party routers
