Sky Q and Deco Mesh

This is just a heads up for anyone that uses this setup.

I was going to post a problem but found the solution.

Today the deco had an updated fireware, reset all the boxes and most worked fine, but the SkyQ box and mini box had a connection but not internet. After various resets and checks, i found that if you have Infected Devices Quarentined  for some reason it had  blocked them. As of yet I'm not sure why, but just disable that and it works again.

Probably because they produce so much spam traffic it assumes they're ridden with malware 😉

In truth it blocked pretty much every device when I looked at the log. Didn't test that so well 😂😂😂.

1:

Make sure that all boxes, including minis, the DNS is 8.8.8.8.

2:

make sure any minis have 2.4ghz turned off.

3:

leave the main box with 2.4 and 5ghz on.

Re: Sky Q and Deco Mesh

I've actually replaced the discs with deco XE75Pro and have the feature turned off. The difference in speed between these and the M5's is amazing.
