Enter the engineers menu.

Open the menu, move to settings, hit 0 0 1 and then select.  There will be an option to turn WiFi off.

Hi @edgie700

If your main Q box is connected by WiFi to your Router then the box WiFi needs to be on anyway.

You can only turn off the Q box WiFi if it connected to your Router by Ethernet.  In addition if you are using any minis on WiFi the Main box WiFi must also be on.

Exactly what is the issue you are seeing?

Re: Sky Q WiFi

Sorry for late reply , I was just going to turn it off so it's one less thing on my WiFi network, I've not got any other Q mini boxes but I realise WiFi needs to be on to access the home screen menu .

I have got a couple of Q boosters but I'm changing them for the upright newer booster , apparently the Q booster was predominantly for extending the Q WiFi to mini boxes so I'm changing.

No...  If the box has ethernet connectivity it works just fine.
