Sky Q - Why can't Sky fix the issue?

My Sky Q box kept freezing and missing recordings.  Rang Sky 26.7.25 who talked though some tests and said that a new box was needed and would be sent.  Received new box and fitted it 28.7.25, the old box was taken back by DPD.  New box will not complete set up, process or come out of standby.  Tried reconnecting numerous times and powering off and on.  Sky Q logo flashes and red light remains on.  Box will not move from this state by either remote or pressing the unit.  I now do not have any Sky service.  Reported to Sky 28.7.25.  Told I needed an engineer home visit to fix but that they were unable to book one in.  I raised a complaint on the phone.  I didn't hear anything further so rang again 1.8.25.  Told that they still cannot book an engineer as the issue is still showing as "in flight".  Tomorrow we will have been without service for seven days and I don't have a clue when the issue will be rectified.     

Had the full Sky package, at full price, at this address for around 17 years but it feels like they are no longer interested in my business.

Does anyone have any ideas or know how to get Sky to resolve this issue in a timely way?
