Sky Q, Sky Glass remote control issues

I hope someone can help, I've trier everything I can think of. My Sky Q remote has randomly been operating the Sky Q box and  the Sky Glass TV at the same time.

For example I will go to change channels, say BBC1 so I'll go to press 101 but when I press 1, the 1 will come up for the Sky Q and Sky glass at the same time then the SkyQ box will randomly choose a different channel like UKTV Gold.

It will also do things like when you go onto the Apps it will also display the Now and next guide at the bottom of the screen as well as the App and if you try to get rid of it, it takes you out of Sky Q App and back to the Sky Glass home screen.

I have been out and bought a new Sky Q remote but that one does the same so I think it must be either the box or Sky glass which are playing up.

Thanks.

Hi @riley2013 Try changing the SKYQ remote to work via IR and not Bloothooth, you will not be able to use voice contropl if you do this:-

Press 4 & 6 together AFTER you have paired the remote, to change to IR mode?

I used to have superpowers… But a therapist took them away.
