Sky Q Remote and Sonos

I have a new SkyQ remote but the volume buttons aren't working.  We have to use the Sonos app to change the volume.

Anyone know how I get the volume buttons to work on the SkyQ remote please. 

I have an engineer booked but would rather sort it myself if possible.

@Modge I have Sonos too, I'm sure when you set up the sky Q remote from the menu, it prompts to ask if you would like it to control a speaker system. Have you tried this option. 😊
