Sky Q Remote Pairing Problems with Hitachi 32HEV200U

Having followed the instructions to pair a Sky Q Mini Remote with a Hitachi 32" TV, none of the 13 codes offered on Sky Help work for pairing (for controlling volume, mute and power)

The touch remote from the main Sky Q box does work but this, in my opinion, is unusable by anyone over the age of ~70.

Does anyone know of an alternative method or additional Hitachi codes?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @donutbrains

Is the remote the original mini version with no voice control (ie no microphone button)?

Or is it a Bluetooth remote with microphone button?

Edit

Either way try Vestel brands and also Other brands

It's the original remote with no voice or Bluetooth.

Thank you but still no luck with the 30+ Vestel codes.

Hi @donutbrains

When you said

"the touch remote from the main box works"

Did you pair this to to the mini?

If so what brand did you use?

Hi @donutbrains
Yeah,     I suspect there a lot more available options with the Bluetooth remotes compared to the original infrared version.

Looks like you need to obtain a new Bluetooth remote for the mini.  The touch versions are no longer available and the latest Bluetooth remotes are purely button operated.

Check the following link and it will lead to a form for a replacement remote.

OK, I will give that a try.
