Sky Q Recordings - please wait

Hi,

Sky Q and sky mini box problem.

Main box Recordings stuck at Please Wait.

Mini box cant access TV guide

 

Hard Reset attempted using Hidden menu as per previous posts, with no effect.

 

Can anyone help?

Sounds like a broken hard drive to me. Use the Sky official Q box troubleshooter on their website and it ends on a "replace box" option if all else fails.

If Sky do decide to swop the box it's likely to be a 'doorstep box swap' whereby DPD deliver a replacement box and take the faulty one so in this scenario remember to remove the viewing card from the faulty box.
