While I doubt it will make any difference, try 8.8.8.8

 

Different DNS. If they are having propogation issues maybe it will be out of sync with the other service and point your box at a different content delivery host. Worth a try anyway, although a very long shot.

I cannot get the DNS to change, but in trying to do so, I had to put IP sttings in to manual.  This has worked on alln3 boxes. Just left it in manual.  Fingers crossed it lasts.

Manual but you left them the same as they were and that fixed it?

Yes..... but only lasted the day. Now I have changed to 1.1.1.1 like every one else..

I have an engineer coming monday from sky but you cannot speak to a human bring at virgin media
