Sky Q Mini
We were sent a Sky Q Mini box but we don't want it, it seems a waste to chuck it away and trying to ring Sky to ask how we send it back to them sends us round the houses on their automated services, can we just give it away to someone or would Sky want it back?

Hi @Spiffy69
You cannot give it away as it belongs to Sky and will be registered on your account.
To use Sky Q Mini boxes you need the monthly Sky Q Multiscreen subscription. If you have this and don't have another mini you are using then you should speak to Sky directly to cancel the Multiscreen subscription.
Sky should then cancel the subscription and ask for return of the mini.
If you have another mini you are using, then you cancel cance Multiscreen. There is no individual charges for a Mini apart from a one off upfront payment.
So if you do have another mini it is not costing you extra so you may as well hang on to the second one.

Re: Sky Q Mini
Regardless of why it was sent to you (I would have thought you'd have had to have ordered it at some point for that to happen), Sky will want it back. It's only loaned to you and if you don't return it when requested to there'll be a non return charge.

Re: Sky Q Mini
Hi everyone thank you for your replies, it seems that my elderly mum was contacted by sky and asked if she wanted this mini box but she didn't know that unknown to her they were signing her up to multi screen room and also sky cinema for an extra fee which she doesn't want so we are having to sort it out for her and cancel them.
