I want to speak to someone regarding my SkyQ mini boxes. They are not connecting .. we had issues with signal dropping and got BT out thinking it was them. We got new router, BT Discs and it's not my WiFi..
I have tried calling Sky and disappointing to see that the calls get diverted to automated phones and they then just direct you to the forum again... Not really great customer service

@Jmmhill as BT is your broadband provider then your mini boxes do not connect to your wifi the connect to a mesh that is produced by your Q main box if you have not already tried
try rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
then
rebooting your mini boxes

Thanks @Laing1
I have completed this already with no success and gone through the resets several times..
I understand the mesh system sky creates and even switched off by discs in case the were clashing ... all with no resolution so far .. I do appreciate the note though .. Thanks 👍

Do Skyq mini boxes connect directly, or do they need a Sky intervention. I'm wanting to acquire another one?
Thanks

It's not clear what you're asking. But you can only 'acquire' them from Sky - they are loaned to you usually for one-off charge of £50. Sounds like you already pay for multiroom.
