Sky Q Mini box - freezing

For the past month I've been having intermittent problems with only my Sky Q mini box. Programmes on both live and recordings are freezing and very slow.

The first time I called the problem was resolved by doing a settings reset, I did this again the second time and it worked after 2 tries but it's been less than a week and the problem is back. Now the reset isn't working.

 

is this a problem with the box itself?
