Re: Sky Q Mini Box not switching on since power failure,
I had this a while back. The only thing that worked was to press the small RESET button at the back of the mini box, and hold it down for at least 20 seconds. The red light eventually blinked off and on, and the box started working again.
Good luck.

Re: Good advice
My ongoing problem is repeated interruption between miniboxes and the main box. An engineer came yesterday and reconfigured the mesh system and installed a booster, but the problem happened 5 times yesterday evening. I would like replacement boxes, but they seem to do that as a last resort.
Glad your problem is fixed!

Re: Good advice
Hi, more or less every time I get a power cut my boxes won't talk to each other, I live in the sticks so that's quite often, and it takes about 15 minutes of messing about to get them back up and running, unfortunately my wife is a dinasore when it comes to anything with more than two buttons, so if I'm out which I am a lot of the time she has to watch the television in the spare bedroom which is just aerial.
I was quite lucky to get a new box out the next day,
