Sky Q Mini Box constantly disconnecting from main Q box

Problem: Sky Q mini box connected to network but losses connection to Main Sky Q box EVERY DAY. Setup:  Sky 500mbs fibre broadband, sky modem router, Sky Q main box and mini box.   I have tried using 1. The sky Wi-Fi network. 2. Switching off both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz Wi-Fi on both main and mini box and just using Ethernet. (They are both connected to the same netgear switch)  3. Main box in Ethernet, Mini on WiFi 4. Main on wifi, mini on Ethernet. 4. I also have a Deco Mesh network and have tried every variation above for both boxes.  Every time after resetting and resetting and rebooting it works, for an hour, a day and then No......no connection. I went through the process with Sky, they sent an engineer, (eventually) he checked everything, swapped the Main, mini and modem, did exactly what I did by using the Ethernet switch (he saw that the switch works perfectly for all the other kit eg Apple TV at 500mbs) turned off the WiFi on both main and mini, reset and it was working as before. He stated that will now be rock solid. He left, two hours later, the Sky Q mini box had no connection to the main box. I had to reset. I am quite literally at the end of my wits. It's been months, All ideas including changing TV provider.

Re: Sky Q Mini Box constantly disconnecting from main Q box

We have the same problem: EVERY SINGLE DAY we have  to reconnect the mini box to main box.  There are no issues with wifi or the main box, just the connection.  Was this ever resolved? Thanks

We also have a booster midway between the boxes and this does not lose signal.
