Sky Q Mini Box Lagging
My mini box in recent times has started to lag badly when watching live TV and makes watching impossible. I doubt it is my internet connection as streaming apps on the same box work fine. Any solutions?

@PaulK85 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions
then
reboot your mini box

Re: Sky Q Mini Box Lagging
Thanks I've rebooted the mini one a few times with no change but will try the main one first then the mini and see if that solves it.

@PaulK85 the reason for doing the main box first is that the mini box gets the signal from the main box 😁

Re: Sky Q Mini Box Lagging
This has been a problem most of the 7 years I have had Sky Q they have given many reasons, the technicians have updated everything, each finding somthing wrong the previous has missed, I'm not 100% sure this is just a poor service now, When I switch channels on any mini box, it lags stops, jumps back and now new Sky Q 2tb box is making a ticking noise like a clock, this isn't a intermissent fault and the engineers have seen the problem no fix has been found, Monday last day, otherwise a full and Frank refund will be chased.

Re: Sky Q Mini Box Lagging
I was having this very same issue. Tried rebooting main box and mini boxes. Reset main box but issue remained. Final thing I tried was to factory reset my Sky Q hub (router). Hold the reset button on the router for 10 seconds until the power light flashes. You then have to reconnect the main box to the router and then your mini boxes to the main box.

Re: Sky Q Mini Box Lagging
Should have probably added that factory resetting the hub did fix my issue
