Sky Q Mini Box Apps

Under the Apps tab on the menu all the apps have disappeared apart from Sky. Where have they gone? Amazon Prime, Netflix, Paramount, Discovery+ etc

First try a power restart of your Sky Q box;

 

  1. Press Standby on your Sky Q remote, then switch off or unplug at the mains and wait for the lights on your Sky Q box to turn off.
  2. Plug in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
  3. Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear then press Home on your Sky Q remote. Some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

If a restart did not fix the issue, try a refresh of the apps;

 

  1. Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings
  2. Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu
  3. Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.

The refresh can take 24 hours to complete.
