Sky Q Download issue - download failed remote network problem

Hi

I am on G Network broadband and cannot download or watch any sky q content through on demand as it appears to be ‘blocked’ and downloads fail without starting.

Help please as to what I need to do to fix it.

I have asked Sky to come out and they visited several times and replaced my sky q box twice and rebooted etc etc  , have sent several engineers out and they can’t fix it.

One engineer sent me an article below but the link doesn’t work as it is for sky sharepoint users only ! Help !!

Typically that's something which can only be resolved by Sky and the ISP concerned liaising over the relevant external network configuration: it's not something that box swaps or an in-premises engineer visit could possibly address.

There's a HUGE recent thread on this very topic (currently 12 pages)

TLDR: You need a PC or PI on your network to divert your own demand requests to the one Sky server that isn't blocking your internet provider and to avoid the one server that is....

See the other thread. This is a 6 year old issue at this point
