Sky Q Cancelled does box give Free channels ?

I am thinking of cancelling Sky Q when my contract is up in August if I can't get a much better deal than the £64 I am paying for HD UHD Sky Signature Netflix with Multiroom. Basically everything except Movies Sports and Kids.

As soon as the service goes off after 31 days do I lose access to everything and the box becomes dead or will I still be able to access BBC and ITV and other free to air channels minus record facilities before I have to return the SkyQ box and mini boxes within the required period ?

@DuncanBmth   If you can the TV service you have to return th Q box, it won't work without a valid subscription

@DuncanBmthEverything stops at the end of the notice period, you then have some time to return the box. It is probably best to return the Q equipment as soon as you can as there is often a delay with Sky processing the return. Make SURE you keep the proof of posting and if tracked a copy of the delivery advice.

Perhaps worth noting that the 'new customer' pricing for that bundle is £56, so there's not a huge amount of leeway for a 'much better deal'.
